"From the hoop" is a short 3D movie directed by 3 students of Supinfocom Arles in 2008.
AAWwesome choice of color script, Really like how the color flows. Nice abstract theme, great presentation! Nice font too. :) Really like those little fake camera focusing blur on the title. If anything that I thought can be better its probably the bball animation.. probably cause I played it too. hehee. But seriously, its an awesome piece. Lighting, rendering and compositing are SPOT ON. I caught the film about Earl "The Goat" Manigault long ago. Really an awesome but pitiful bball legend. I remember in the film(Call "Rebound", go look for it! Probably the best bball films I caught), there was an interview with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, he was asked who do you think is the best and greatest player in the world. He answered, "the goat".
